ATLANTIS DIVE RESORT

On a long peaceful stretch of beach, lies the lush and luxurious Atlantis Dive Resort. Surrounded by an amazing tropical garden with some of the rarest plants to be found in the Philippines it is just a short trip to some of the most renowned dive sites in Asia - Apo Island, Balicasag reef and of course the local Dauin Marine Sanctuaries.

Apo Reef is part of the world's second largest contiguous reef system as well as the largest in the Philippines. Apo Reef part of "Apo Reef Natural Park" consists of 34 square miles of coral reef seldom visited due to their remote location as well as their status as a Marine protected area. Visitors to Apo Reef are always impressed with the variety of diving as well as species of both fishes and corals. While the Philippines is not generally known for pelagic but rather incredible biodiversity and fish density, visitors are often rewarded with pelagic sightings as well including sharks, turtles, schools of barracuda as well as an occasional Manta to name but a few...Apo Reef is an open ocean magnet for marine life, with typically plenty of shark sightings, occasional Manta Rays and many more impressive marine species.

BAHURA RESORT AND SPA

Bahura Resort and Spa is a premier beach resort and aqua sport center. "Bahura" which is the Spanish word for "reef" is an apt testament to the rich marine life accessible from   the resort. Representing the best in the Philippine Diving, our house reef is a protected   sanctuary, while world famous Apo Island is a mere 25 minute boat ride away.

Diving is easy here at the Bahura Resort and Spa. A few steps from the beach will lead you to our own house reef. Sea grasses give way to coral bommies filled with crinoids and ornamental fish. A sloping reef of hard corals down to about 23 meters gives way to a sandy area filled with soft corals. Offering massage and other body treatments to vacationing divers or their non-diving companions, the spa complements the other activities available at the property. These include kayaking, pedal boats, banana boats, hobie cats, snorkeling tours, dolphin watching ,atv rides, caving and rappelling, market day shopping.

Some of the most intricate and complex marine ecosystems are found in this region. Puerto Galera is situated on the northern peninsula of Mindoro, which is seperated from Luzon by the Verde Island Passage. Waters are flushed by the current on the South China Sea, resulting in strong currents, which makes the area well known for its spectacular, exhilarating drift dives.
